I usually... kind of.. get annoyed when someone solicits me for a free product as I feel a truth review will be of one that someone actually buys to gain the full experience. But this time I finally decided to give someone a chance and when I did... I was scammed.

Jessica Marie...who solicited me through email in March 2017 asking to be a reviewer of my bath bomb products. I probably get at least 10 emails a day of up and coming bloggers asking to review my items for free on their blog. Some even solicit payment; but I usually always say no. This time I decided to give someone a try. On 3/31/2017 the items were sent and received to so-called reviewer on 4/4/2017; however; the reviewer never contacted me to say she received it... after am email message; she replied that she was out of town.

The week after; no contact. Contacted her again; now someone had died in the family and she would get to it. Week after; no response. Some emails sent back and forth; always states she would have review done by Monday; lots of Mondays have passed; it is now a month later and still no review. So-called reviewer even messaged me in ll caps stating how SHE TOLD ME; she had a death in the family; as if that is supposed to buy her time or give her the lead way to solicit free items from companies.

I chose this person as she was very convincing. Reviewer is a fraud to put it straight. If you happen to see a bad review about the product she received free and did not buy; ansd it happens to be a bad one; this may be why; reviewer mad because I emailed to see when the review would be up. Reviewer [Jessica Marie] claims in an email that she liked the items. However; has still not reviewed them and is still soliciting other small businesses for free products.

This is just a warning in case you never hear from her. She will probably change her email and reviewing site; but please be careful when sending free items to so-called reviewers. Jessica has no credibility and I figured I would give her a chance because in the past reviewers have messaged me asking why or stating they are new and no one wants to give them a chance and this type of behavior is the main reason why companies would rather not give out items for free because nothing is free and this is money going out the window to deal with fraud reviewers.

Even if reviewer does not like item; she can state this in her review as I only want honest product reviews. Reviewer claims she likes item; yet never reviewed. This is very disappointing.

There is proof of no review and proof of the item being sent to the so-called reviewer. Did some research and seen that in 2015; someone else contacted her; as she had not replied or reviewed their item either after it had been sent. Fraud.

So beware other sellers/product makers looking for reviews.

Dealing with Racism and Stereotypes from Online Sellers/Buyers in 2016.

I had to deal with racism yesterday with a buyer/seller. So I wanted to vent a little as I work alone and have no one to talk to about this.

I had a picture up showing myself so of course customers know I'm black.  But had I not been Black.. I'm pretty sure this buyer would not have referenced me to being on "Welfare" and for not having a "man".  I take those words as to being harsh as I for a Black woman and with 3 children and a husband that I have been with and married to for 16 years!!!, we have always worked for our money, and had no help from the WELFARE, family or friends.  We are one of the surviving couples we know that are black, all the kids by the same parents, and paying our own bills with no help.  So for her to state "welfare" and no man" in the same referenced paragraph is just racist because had I been of another race; maybe hers; she would have not said that.  This is not the first time a buyer has done this sort of thing to me.  Find out I'm black then start pulling the welfare and nigger card.

This buyer who is a seller herself; probably has black customers and I would not support this buyer/seller if I know something of this nature has taken place.

The buyer/seller kept messaging me over the July 4th holiday weekend in which I have the right to take off.  Not only was it a holiday but it was also a weekend so I was not in my office.  I was away and DID reply on the holiday and weekend on my phone which was very limited.  So when I did get back to my office I confirmed her order and she was fine with it.  Well maybe she became forgetful and she started writing to me being nasty and rude stating how all other vendors ship their items within a few days.  A few days does not include business days or holidays.  Also all vendors should not be compared.  I work alone.  I don't have any help and all of my orders are either handmade or the process is done by me.  Just recently I asked my 11 year old daughter to help me out a little but that's not the point.  My items take time and care.  I can not rush something because all other vendors have help and or machines making their items.  I just can't.  Most of my customers understand that and appreciate that from me.  I take pride in my items and that takes time.  I usually ship within 6-10 business days.  So for someone to clearly know the details before they purchased which she had inquired about my bath bombs as well and was asking for discounts and the bath bombs she wanted were on the heavier side so I wouldn't be able to discount that much.. if anything she could get the dress for free shipping; she declined and only wanted the dress.  But then she waited until I shipped the dress to CANCEL her order and the site cancelled the order so now I have to do a intercept mail with the post office which cost $10-$12.00 so that the customer does not get my item and keep her money.  This is the same thing that happened on the Poshmark site before which is why I will not use their platform.

I admit, I said she was built like a chicken nugget and lived in a hut or a 1100 square-feet cave which was out of my character.  I should have just ignored her but then she tried to call me jealous and kept saying that I need to take care of my kids and that I'm a welfare recipient and I DO not agree with the welfare system and how people try to sucker off of it so that makes me angry especially since I have never been on welfare and neither have my kids.  They don't know what an ebt card looks like and have never lived off the section 8 or system so that bothers a hard working Black Business Owner like myself.  I pay all my own bills and taxes and have medical for my kids but not myself because it is too expensive and have been taxed on that.  I don't like the stereotype that all black people must be manless or on welfare.  Because I am not that person.  I have a husband and I am not on welfare and I'm proud of it!  So for a second it did not bother me but then she just kept at it and I'm thinking, you probably have black customers but think this about us.

She only has one item listed on her site so probably means she stays under the radar by not paying taxes and probably doesn't even have a business license.

This post alone is giving her a nice shout out.  Maybe she will get some business.  But I felt like people should know about her type.  I work hard and I'm an honest business and would never just outright come out and talk about people like that.  Not unless they are coming for me.  I think I need to learn more restraint for myself.  I had got into my bible after all that and online found this ...

Dealing with mean people—Confrontation

We should be empathetic, and we should always respond with kindness. Being mean to a mean person only escalates the situation; we are called to be peaceful and “turn the other cheek” (Matthew 5:38–42; Romans 12:18). But if the mean person is a Christian, the Bible recommends confrontation. We all sin, of course. As James said, “We all stumble in many ways” (James 3:2), but a pattern of meanness needs to be confronted, per the instructions in Matthew 18:15–17. We are to confront our brothers and sisters when they sin against us in the spirit of restoration. If they refuse to listen, we should take a few other faithful Christians with us, again in the spirit of reminding the offending Christian that he is not behaving according to his profession of faith. If that does not work, the matter is taken before the local church. If he does not listen to the whole group, he should be treated as an unbeliever—no enmity or retaliation is called for, but the relationship has changed.

I'm just going to let that marinate and carry on.  At the end of the day it doesn't change anything, this person does not really know me other than a picture she seen online and so she is not really bothered with me; she is bothered with herself.  If she knew me, she would know I take care of my kids and no welfare is involved and I am a proud mother and wife for 16 years!  Celebrating our anniversary next month to be exact!

I have been dealing with a stalker so anyone who even reminds me of the person just automatically gets to me, but when sit back and look at what truly matters; none of this nonsense that other people try to bring upon me matters at all.

Car Vlog New Friends 2nd Meet and Greet Girls Night

So for my 2nd meet and greet I had 3 ladies.  Evelyn came from last time, and two new ladies.  We went to a brewery.  I did get to get some Champagne because I'm not really a beer person, but they said all their beer is crafted so it's supposed to be better but I didn't taste it.  I really liked the spot even though it was country.  Our group donated to Loma Linda Children Foundation when we participated in the raffle they had.



We all chit chatted ad had a good time and didn't feel weird or anything.  As if I already knew them.  I enjoy meeting new people.  Each of the ladies have a special quality to offer as they are all educated or busy with their work careers and that is something I like.

Weekly Vlog Beach Trip Santa Monica Pier Drinks and Pizza at Bjs

Weekly Mini Vlog. We're at the beach! And the beach is not my thing. I hate being cold. I would think I would be used to it being born and raised in the East Coast, rain, sleet, and snow!, but I absolutely hate it! lmao. All bad for my kids because they are California raised and like to go to the beach. So I'll be taking them more often this summer. It's also a great place to relax and just layout and think in the sand.

Anyway, I felt like the pier was dirty or something because I love to eat snacks and Idk, I feel like the workers don't really wash their hands and the funnel cakes they were handing out were stingy. They didn't even put whip cream on the funnel cake. #whack

Anyway my kids had fun so that was cool. 
Later I went out with a friend to BJs and it was my first time at the one in my neighborhood. It was aight. The drinks weren't really that strong and the pizza kind of tasted like it was just topping and dough, couldn't really taste the cheese. And I love cheese.

My son's 6th year old birthday and his gift. Polaris RZR 900

Hi!  It was one of my kids bdays.  I have a kid with a birthday every month starting in April.  For his bday I brought cupcakes, capri sun, and good bags full of chips and candies for the kids.  At home we just celebrate with a cake and a few gifts.  The biggest gift he got was the Polaris 2 seater vehicle for kids.  He really wanted it.  We got is at Walmart.  We spray painted the Barbie jeep blue so the other kid could get it.  He was a little sad but we had to do it. These are expensive.  I did like a mini tour of the two vehicles.

Happy Birthday to my kid!  He turned 6!  Yay!  This is just a mini vlog docu of his little birthday.  I also got him a cd player, like the ones we had when we were a kid.  I felt like it was super old school. lmao.  I took him to Walmart to pick out two cds but didn't document it.  I kind of felt like it was a little cheap but my kids love their gifts.  I mean you could get them a pencil and they would be excite which is one of the great qualities in my kid that I absolutely love.

I have a copycat, internet stalker, it's starting to get really creepy. It's sickening. It's been going on for years. Leave me alone please.

I just wanted to point out how I have an internet stalker and copy cat who copies my every move.  Decided to add these pictures to prove my point since the perpetrator lies every change she gets.  She's an ex friend that I had to let go because of it and can you believe 4-5 years later she is still on my trail. It is quite obvious.  Funny too how a person will claim they don't like you or don't want to be you but will follow your every move, even years after you don't talk to them.  It's creepy.

Leave me alone.  I don't want to be associated with you.  You lie to my customers and it's not nice.  Luckily a few of them have caught on.  She actually thinks this is a promo.  Not really, more like awareness.  It's sickening and quite frankly pathetic.

Haters Gonna Hate but No weapon formed against you will prosper!

I know it ain't never worked out for you.  Multiple baby daddies, welfare recipient, can't keep a man, old as hell but still not married, jealous because you can't make it work, renting men, effing for hand bags, wondering when someone gonna wife you, wondering why you are not successful, but we all know the reason why.  God don't like ugly, and you my child are very, very ugly.  You can't go around copying  a person you claim you don't like down to the TEA, and wishing bad, making up lies and thinking that you are going to prosper off of it.  It just doesn't work like that sweetie.  What you need to do is find something your good at, like tricking, or using food stamps and ripping off medicaid, and keep calm.  Basically mind your own business or at least get some.  Spend some time getting some business of your own so you don't have to wake up every single morning lurking and trying to figure out what Denise is doing.  Damn G!  I thought after a few years you would be tired, but still stalking after 3-4 years shows how sick in the brain you are.  Gross.  Just disgusting. Plus you keep a dirty ass house and you think having a big ass keeps aman but you still haven't got wife'd, not even a proposal. 

Moral of the story; if you find yourself in a situation like this where someone claims to not like you, but is obsessed with you, lurking your every move and trying to make up ish about you because misery loves company.... continue praying and living your life.  When you are doing this:

Beware of Buyers that Steal and commit Charge Back Fraud: Ashley A.

This customer will buy items from you and then create a charge back which means she will receive her money back and keep your item.  She has done this to me twice.  Within a month apart; kept the items; wrote to me and said she was sorry; while my credit card processor has charges me 122.04 twice which is a total of 244.08. [Which includes the funds returned to the customers and charge back fees] Not only did I spend time and labor on this item; this customer committed a crime of stealing and fraud.  She claimed she did not authorize the payment when she did.  And she stole from me because she has the money and her hair extensions which is not fair to a hard working business like mine.

Beware.

I'm a Copycat

I have a stalker and copycat ex fake friend who copies my every move.  I don't understand how someone can get up and go search social media to see what you did or what you're doing and then proceed to copy your every move.  Mainly my every move as far as my business goes as she had been copying for years but every time I would catch her she would lie and say it wasn't her when it was obvious.  She would stop for a while and then sneak and copy more when she thought I was oblivious. 

Now I have stopped being associated with her for almost over a year and every time when I search my own products; her copy catting, copyright infringement, perpetrating listings come up right next to mine.  She had always wanted to work with me but I don't work with friends and this is the main reason why.  Fake friends will claim they are happy for you or claim as in her words "I won't step on your toes" as far as copying all of my ideas and using and pretending that they are her own; but all the while they want to be you, do you, or try to out do you.  Baby girl; which is an understatement because this woman is 35 years old ad obviously this is what has become of her life.  To copy. Matter of fact she will be 36 this month and still has no assets except an instagram name.

Sad life to live when you have lived most of your life envying a friend and then try to take on their persona.  Sorry boo-boo.  But you will never be me.  You will always come up short.  And you will always be next to none.  Customers are all looking for a good deal which is understandable so her 10 cent to 50 cent cheaper prices are pursued in their eyes; but I and some of the customers even know that you are a copycat.  A fraud.  And most of all you know it; and don't even care.  I don't understand a lot of God's children but I guess it is not my place to understand.  Some people are just put on this earth to exist.  Others are living.  She is existing to copy.  She will probably copy anything she can until the end of time.  That will be her legacy.  "I'm a copycat"  When someone asks her what her occupation is; I'm sure she will lie and say whatever it is that I do; but deep down inside she should want to say; "I'm a copycat".  Because that is what she is.  a Fraud, a liar, a dishonest grown woman. Halfway 60 years old and still has not found herself.  Must be sad to live that way...

Beware of powdered up fakes or fake rack pigment powder sellers who are perpetrating and or copying my listings and projects word for word and are un-authentic.  This is a simple sign if you pay attention to their work ethics.  Many people copy what @MYLuxury1st does and many people are inspired to the point where they at least switch things up, ask me questions; which I am always happy to help... but when someone copies your every waking move; it is not a good sign and or practice.

How can you trust a company who's whole work ethic is to be lazy and copy what others are doing instead of being innovative and creating their own work. And they make is very obvious that they are copying; they are not even ashamed.  This is why you must be aware of the people you keep around you. People are so jealous and envious of you that they will hide behind your back and copy you and when you confront them about it; of course they will lie.  And this is why you want to keep communication with a liar to a 0.  Do not tolerate it.  The first sign of a lie; you need to move on and stop dealing or putting up with people who do not appreciate you.  Otherwise you will find yourself in a similar situation to me in which I befriended a fake friend and taught the person everything I know and was learning; I am constantly learning; but when I didn't want to share all of what I was doing; because face it; I'm a hard worker and a legit business woman; Does the maker of Apple or Pizza Hut share all of their trademark secrets?  No.  So I didn't share every single thing with me fake friend and when I did not; she got mad and become more mad, jealous, envious, and so it makes for not such a great relationship and you have to let the person go.  Once you let the person go; they are so obsessed with you that they copy your every move; try to talk and work as if they are you and it is pathetic.

I started making soaps and simple cosmetics just for myself and family a few years ago and had lots of supplies left over from projects that did not turn out how I would have liked them so I began selling my items and pigment samples online and I figured people who wanted to test the colorants before buying in bulk would benefit from this and they did and still do.

I don' make a lot of money on this venture because everything is so small and the main point is jut for testing and for people who are interested as I am to just get a feel of what they may want to make or create.  But it does allow me to get sandwiches and help feed my family as I am a work at home mom.  So this is great for me.  I get to stay home with my kiddies and help contribute to not only my family but to my community as well.

I list the pigments in custom or sample sizes such as 1g, 2g, 3g, and 4 gram sample packets.  I am not the first to ever sell samples but I am the first to ever sell them in these small increments.  These re great for testing in eye shadow making; making your own nail polishes; coloring resins, paints, arts, and crafts, and so much more!  I recently even tried making hair dye and had the nerve to test it on my kid... lol.  It's fun to make you own items and it's a great project to do with the kiddies and spend time with them.

The thing I hate about my fake friend is that she just copies all of my moves; it's so annoying.  From the wording to the pictures; she will set up her whole platform to mimic me and if I talk abut it like I am not; she just takes it as free promotion and offers her items cheaper which she is able for certain unethical reasons... but isn't she inspired to come up with her own things, even once?  I don't understand in which I have expressed this to her; out of all the people in the world to copy; why me?  I'm just a regular woman who enjoys and loves life and my daily duties.  I'm really not that exciting but that's the thing; when you feel like you are regular and unexciting; there are always other people who feel your life is super great and better than theirs so it drives them to do things they would not or may not normally do.

I just don't understand because I have never been that type of person.  I prefer to go with the beat of my own drum and not someone else's and I am occasionally inspired by people; I love to be inspired but I take that inspiration and use it to do things to better myself and to make me think harder and work harder.

Moral of my story; I will continue to be me; and to strive to be a better me and no one can do what I do; exactly like me.  We were all built to lead different and similar lives and I would not trade mine for anyone elses.

I think it takes me too long to do my hair

Just a quick video...well not that quick...pre-editing it took me about 35 minutes.  To me that is long as I don't like to spend that much time on my hair; nor do I realize that I even spend that much time on my hair in the first place but now that I know; I will try to take this into consideration to save myself time in the future; although I don't think it will work because you know how us girls are... we love to be in the mirror prepping ourselves; well most of us do...anywho...



How long does it take you to complete a hairstyle for yourself and do you go in the bathroom already knowing which hair style you will do or do you just freestyle??  Feel free to let me know by commenting below.

So at like 9pm or way after; I hit up Corinna and we decided to go to Chili's for a drink. Moms' night out! I don't remember when we got there but it was really just us two in there lol. Just some girl time and then back to regular life.

Reminiscing with my Chuck E Cheese vlog | July 2015

Was I at Chuckz for myself or for my kids?

I mean, I did have a good time with my kids; and I know they had a
good time.  We stayed for about 3 and a half hours after I only really
wanted to be there for about 2 hours.  But this was... I believe our
first time this year so freak it, I had to stay longer plus I wanted to
actually hang out with them instead of trying to vlog the whole time.  I
caught myself in some bittersweet moments thinking about how Chucks
used to be when I was a kid.  When I was a kid I didn't go to chucks
that much.  Only for someones bday.  My kids are different.  Since they
have been born I have took them plenty of times and it doesn't have to
be anyone's birthday.  For me, it was Showbiz Pizza when I first went. 
Then later Chuckz and there was even a Discovery Zone.  I had my first
Push Pop there.  The place always smelled delicious!  The food was good
from what I remember.  The ball pit was super fun.  The characters were
dope but scary at the same time.  It was a real treat to go!



Now a days; this is all my kids know so of course it's fun to
them.  But the pizza barely has cheese.  I mean "barely".  And
everything looks slightly dirty.  Maybe when you are a kid you don't pay
attention to detail.  Maybe this is what is so great about being a
kid.  That's why this is a place "where a kid can be a kid"



I'm sure I will have more play dates there because the moms
group goes there 1x a month at least so that's about 5 more times this
year, but I think I will go every other month.  I know it's for my
kiddies, but dang it; I still have to be in the mood to take them.  Plus
I work a lot so sometimes it gets hard but I took half the day off to
take them there because I want them to do 2 fun things a week before
school starts.
